At Baileys, we believe that quality products are the key. For Baileys to produce such high standard merchandise, we must have Quality Control. This is why we have our own on-site laboratory.
Our Chemist Mr Martin Edenburg (AITWA-Pure Chem) is
responsible for all analytical tests and maintains quality
control of our production. As our Quality Assurance Manager
he is responsible for the implementation and monitoring
of the International Standard ISO9001 Quality Management
Systems to provide the assurance of quality in Baileys’
operations.
With each batch of fertiliser and potting mix manufactured, a sample is forwarded to our laboratory for testing. This ensures that our fertilisers and potting mixes are produced to the same quality with each new batch. Hence, each time you use the product, you are guaranteed a consistent high quality.
Our Laboratory is not only used for internal testing. We also provide a contract laboratory service. Tests can be carried out for large or small, one-off or continuing soil, tissue and water samples.
All analytical tests come with a written report. Applying the right fertiliser at the right rate and at the right time is crucial. If required recommendations can be provided by our qualified and experienced staff.
To complete an analysis, the turnaround time is approximately 10 working days from the time Baileys receive the sample at our laboratory. Contact our friendly staff to discuss your requirements.
