Our Laboratory
Applying the right fertiliser at the right rate and time is crucial. At Baileys, we believe that quality products are the key. To produce such high standard merchandise, we must have a strict Quality Control, which is why we have our own fully equipped laboratory on-site. Our Quality Team maintains quality control of our production. With each batch of fertiliser and potting mix manufactured, a sample is forwarded to our laboratory for testing, ensuring that our fertilisers and potting mixes are produced to the same quality with each new batch. Hence, each time you use the product, you are guaranteed a consistent high quality.
Research & Development
The laboratory also conducts a research program developing and testing new products and technologies to ensure our customers are always benefitting from current scientific research. Our Quality Manager is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the International Standard ISO9001 Quality Management Systems to provide the assurance of quality in Baileys’ operations.
Soil, Leaf & Water Analysis
Our Laboratory is not only used for internal testing. We also provide a contract laboratory service. Tests can be carried out for large or small, one-off or continuing soil, tissue and water samples.
