Baileys Fertiliser is a family owned company based just south of Perth in the industrial estate of Kwinana, Western Australia. The Bailey Family has been involved with the horticultural industry since 1926. From early beginnings at the family base in Spearwood they worked as suppliers to market gardeners, flower producers and orchardists.
As the agricultural and horticultural trades became more sophisticated and the demands of clients changed, Baileys found itself at the forefront of developing specialist products for the turf industry and later on, the domestic market.
As the nursery trade began to flourish, and Baileys introduced Controlled Release Fertilisers to nurseries across Australia. As the business expanded, new markets were found in the forestry industry, commercial turf and potting soils trade. In 1997, Baileys installed a granulation plant that produces a wide range of specialty granulated products, including Brilliance & 311.
In 2000, Baileys achieved International Standards ISO9001 for the production of fertilisers and potting mixes, and the storage, distribution and spreading of fertilisers. The AS/NZS ISO9001:1994 standard operating procedures are managed in-house by our Chemist, working from our onsite laboratory.
Also in 2000, Baileys passed all trials to accurately supply and spread fertiliser in accordance with the Australian Fertiliser Services Association with the 'AccuSpread' Certification.
Today, Baileys manufacture a wide variety of high quality fertilisers, potting mixes and mulches for that same broad spectrum of customers from their premises in Kwinana.
