PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A.S.N is a blended product consisting of high nitrogen, calcium and sulphur. It is commonly applied to turf farms and various sporting complexes and is ideal for use after a sporting event to encourage vigorous growth. It is very beneficial when used after winter dormancy or coming into cooler periods due to the nitrate nitrogen form of nitrogen available to the plant.


BENEFITS
A.S.N. is a unique nitrogen fertiliser with a calcium content that is well suited to deficient soil profiles. It is a good management fertiliser that will improve soil structure and the balance of calcium and magnesium in the soil. Soil types that are hardpan in nature may be better managed with calcium application. Calcium assists the uptake and movement of other nutrients around the plant and strengthens plant cell walls. It encourages good respiration which is ideal in high heat and humidity.

Deficiencies in calcium cause reduced root growth and pale leaves which do not respond well to nitrogen and iron fertiliser applications. Adequate amounts of calcium strengthen the whole plant and allow for efficient use of sunlight, carbon dioxide, water, nitrogen and other minerals.

High calcium levels in the soil can sometimes be misleading and caused by insoluble calcium carbonate deposits. Applying calcium products in a program can be beneficial.
ASN is an ideal fertiliser to treat nitrogen deficiency on all soil types and to improve sulphur levels for protein production. A.S.N. is becoming increasingly favoured over traditional nitrogen fertilisers due to the importance of the three macro nutrients it contains to turf health and management.
