 A healthy does of plant power can create a haven for increased productivity and inspiration - their relaxing effects are scientifically proven after all. When choosing varieties to spruce up your work space, consideration should be given to lighting, level of care... and the potential for them to become someones lunch!

Little Maintenance

If you have a full-on schedule, easy-care plant varieties are the way to go. You'll get the full health and wellbeing benefits of working from an indoor jungle, without needing to invest in humidifiers or setting reminders to mist or water. Consider varieties such as:

  • Devil's Ivy
  • Heart Leaf Philodendron
  • Peace Lily
  • Rubber Plant
  • Mother in Law's Tongue
  • ZZ Plant

Little Light

Maybe you're hiding from the kids, or maybe it was the quietest space in the house - if you've setup shop in an out-of-the-way corner without much sunlight, consider selecting varieties that tolerate low-light conditions:

  • Begonia
  • Night Blooming Cactus

Little Creatures

They might occasionally gatecrash your Monday morning zoom meeting, but working from home with human and/or fur babies at least ensures you take regular breaks. If you have small people or pets moving around your home office, look for non-toxic plant varieties such as:
