Liquid probiotics to boost gut health 

Try a brewed bottle of kombucha from a health shop. I first tasted ROK Ginger and Lemon. It tasted so good I immediately got started making my own at home. 
Recipe Beg, buy online, borrow or grow your own S.C.O.B.Y.  (Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast). Make up a brew of tea, I use green tea, about 3.4 litres. While still hot, add 8 tablespoons of sugar and stir to dissolve. Don’t worry about the sugar, its eaten up and converted into probiotic goodies by the fermentation process. Once cooled pour the tea over the S.C.O.B.Y. in an open topped porcelain or glass container. Cover with cheesecloth so it can breath and to keep vinegar fly out. 

Wait for a week and decant half of the liquid, which can be drunk immediately or second fermented in a plastic screw topped bottle. In order to start the secondary fermentation in the bottle you need to add honey or fruit pieces such as orange, apple, pineapple as well as ginger and turmeric in our case. Leave at room temperature for a few days then refrigerate to cool before drinking. 

Yum and good for the gut too as it contains probiotics and lots of other goodies to enhance digestion and gut processes.
