Coronavirus information for our customers & suppliers

For over 94 years, Baileys has been supplying quality product and service throughout Western Australia, in the good times and tough - and today is no different.

In light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, I wanted to reach out to all customers, suppliers and partners, and briefly detail the measures we have put in place to ensure the safety of our people, and our continued service, supply and quality during these trying times.

The health and safety of our people is our top priority, and precautionary measures to minimise the risk of transmission have been implemented. In doing so, we reduce the risk of impact on our operations as well.

These measures include:

  • Working from home arrangements have been set up, tested, and will come into effect on Monday the 30th March for all administrative and sales staff. This means our front office will be closed and over the counter sales not available face to face . As always, orders can be place over email directly at orders@baileysfertilisers.com.au , or by phoning (08) 9439 1688.
  • Counter sales can still arrange to pick up product from Baileys , however we ask that you stay in your vehicle in the carpark and phone (08) 9439 1688 to arrange for your order to be brought out to you and loaded into your vehicle.
  • Operationally, we have restructured and completely segregated our day and night shifts, including laboratory and quality control staff. This ensures a contingency is in place to run all plant and equipment.
  • Supplies and training have been provided to support good hygiene throughout our site and in our vehicles. Importantly, daily cleaning and disinfecting has been increased, and cleaning of all shared surfaces between shifts has been implemented. Extra precautions have been implemented for delivery drivers.
  • Social distancing measures apply to all employees who are on site, and all meetings are now conducted electronically via Zoom or other means.
  • Government directed quarantine measures apply to all, and work related travel both overseas and interstate has ceases.

We will continue to take actions and precautions to minimise the risk and impact of COVID-19 as the situation develops, and are dedicated to keeping our employees, customers and partners safe.

As a supplier to the Australian horticultural and agricultural industry, we are confident we will be considered an essential service and will not be affected by any shut down.

Please be sure with the above measures in place, we don't currently foresee disruption to our supply that would affect the on time and in full delivery of your orders or services.
